Today, they have a strong market presence offering a wide variety of savory products under their brand 'Gopal' including ethnic snacks, western snacks, snack pellets, fast-moving consumer goods, and other products such as packaged sweets. They believe that their products offer a high-value proposition to consumers through a balance of taste, quality, and price.
Gopal takes pride in being the fourth largest brand in the organized sector of ethnic savories (including gathiya) in terms of market share in India and the largest manufacturer of gathiya and snack pellets in India in terms of volume in Fiscal 2023.
As a fast-moving consumer goods company in India, Gopal Snacks has made its mark in ten Indian states and two Union Territories. It has a strong presence in the western region and a domestic reach of four lakhs plus retailers.
They operate with three primary manufacturing facilities located at Rajkot(Gujarat), Nagpur(Maharashtra), and Modasa (Gujarat) for the production of Gathiya, Namkeen, Wafers and Snack Pellets.
Additionally, they operate three ancillary manufacturing facilities located at Rajkot (Gujarat), which produce besan or gram flour, raw snack pellets, seasoning, and spices which are primarily used for captive consumption in the manufacturing of finished products such as Gathiya, Namkeen, Wafers, and Snack Pellets.
They have over 250 transport vehicles to reach the majority of areas including remote areas. They also have an engineering and fabrication facility in Rajkot, Gujarat where they manufacture custom containers for their vehicles to transport their products. The facility is also equipped to perform repairs and undertake maintenance of container vehicles.
They believe that their capability to manufacture containers allows them to ensure the strength of the metal body of containers, ensuring their products are protected from heat rain, and humidity.
They have the largest cold storage capacity in the Indian snacks industry, as of June 30, 2023. Their vertically integrated operations allow them complete control over the production process.
They come with an IPO between 06 March 2024 to 11 March 2024. The allotment is expected to be finalized on Tuesday 12 March 2024. The listing date of Gopal Snacks will be Thursday 14 March 2024 on BSE and NSE.
