Juniper Hotels is co-owned by Two Seas Holdings Limited and Saraf Hotels Limited. Juniper Hotels is an ownership company and luxury hotel development. They are affiliated with the prominent global hospitality entity, Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Hyatt owns 50% of Juniper Hotels through Two Seas Holdings.
The company engaged with a diverse portfolio of seven hotels and serviced apartments. The company’s hotels and serviced apartments are across the luxury, upper upscale, and upscale categories at various locations.
Juniper Hotels is a strategic partnership between the Saraf group, a hotel developer with a strong and well-established track record of over 40 years, and Hyatt, a premier international hospitality company listed on the NYSE.
The Saraf group, led by Arun Kumar Saraf, has had a dominant role in hotel development in India – it was part of the consortium that developed the largest private sector hotel in Delhi and brought Hyatt to India in 1982.
The group has developed over eleven hotels across nine cities in India and Nepal. Their first hotel, Yak and Yeti, was established in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1977 by Arun’s father, the late Mr. Radhe Shyam Saraf. As of 30 September 2023, the company employed a total of 1,631 permanent employees, while Chartered Hotels Private Limited had a total of 362 employees.
The Saraf group joined hands with Hyatt in 1998 in the form of Juniper Hotels to launch its first and flagship property, Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences (Opened in 2004). This partnership between a developer and an international chain operator combines in-depth market understanding, development experience, long-standing brand heritage, and operational expertise.
Juniper Hotels has extensive experience in identifying opportunities in hospitality destinations, developing high-end hotels in demanding locations, and nurturing them through active asset management.
Its strength lies in conceiving and executing large-scale mixed-use properties with multiple revenue streams like rooms, serviced apartments, restaurants, and event and commercial spaces to ensure optimal utilization of available resources and maximization of revenue.
They come with an IPO between 21 February 2024 to 23 February 2024. The allotment is expected to be finalized on Monday 26 February 2024. The listing date of Juniper Hotels will be Wednesday 28 February 2024 on BSE and NSE.
